How does God create?
God creates through the power of His Word. By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. Psalm 33:6. He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. Psalm 33:9. His creative power is as incomprehensible to us as His existence. Though there is a constant effort made by many to explain God's work of creation as the result of natural causes, Scriptures testify of His power and greatness: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork. Psalm 19:1. The secret things belong unto the Lord our God; but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever. Deuteronomy 29:29. How does God sustain His creation? God's energy is still exerted in upholding the objects of His creation. The operations of nature are conducted in harmony with His laws with which He can interfere.
